Yvonne Hagane

Don't they look pretty? I saw them from Yvonne's blog and I knew I wanted to do the same one day. They are PRETTY, but wowser.... a lot of work! I guess if you're only doing one, it wouldn't be that much work compare to 4.
And of course... I couldn't decide if I should do the easel or regular. As you can see... it was tough to pick, so I did both.

Not sure if you can see... the dark one is actually Navy Blue

and the other one is Brown.

Tracy's Christmas Challenge #2

I have been waiting for Tracy's Challenge forevah!! Then she posted the challenge and I must admit... this challenge was a tough one for me. I love green, but blue is not my fave at all. My 3D this time is a Chinese take out box (I went to Scrapbook Pantry and cut about 5o of them. I used them for Valentines Day for the girls to give to their classmates) and 6 gift tags.
Very simple cards! I used Sizzix embossing folder Poinsettia and Cuttlebug Christmas Balls (not sure the name) which I distressed with Shabby Shutter Distress Ink Pad.

Last Flower Power

Yeah!! It's the last Flower Power. I have 10 pre-printed sheets of PTI with this design and I don't think I will be using them as much as I did with the other one. I think I'm just gonna flip the paper over and use the blank side, so I don't waste my expensive PTI CS.

Hope you enjoyed my Flower Power.

Bouquet of Flowers

I knew it was just a matter of time.... Here's a busy one for you!
I was aiming for a simple one, but as you can see... It's no where near simple. Not really sure about this one though. Oh well...I guess it's too late to re-arrange it.

Heartfelt Flowers

I'm lovin' this 5.5 x 5.5 cards. I thought I'd use all of them, but from the looks of it.... I think I'm gonna have to buy more.
Are you sick of them yet??? I hope not! "LOL" I still have a couple more to post.

Friendly flowers

This one is my favorite!!! It is very simple and clean. I didn't even touch the card.... and didn't even have to add sentiment.
Here's the side view. I actually used 2 Martha Stewart punch for this one. One is the actual flower punch, which is the top two flowers. Not sure if you can see the last one, but it is actually the same design punch except it doesn't cut all the way.

Flower Power

*** Warning*** I did 6 cards while we were off and I'm afraid they're all flowers. You might get sick of them as I post them one at a time. I actually think you will get sick of them.... because they are all the same! I was cleaning up and found 10 sheets of pre-printed flowers (must of done them a while back) Printed on Paper Trey Ink CS!!!! and knowing that they're very expensive.... I just had to use them all.
MIL's Birthday is coming up and this is what I came up with. All the flowers were printed off the computer and I used my MS punch to cut the flowers (sooo much faster than cutting it by hand) crumbled and curled, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Alcohol ink

I used alcohol ink from my last post and got me thinking how much I love that technique. So..... I knew I just had to the same for this card. I really love this image! She is so much fun to color with copics. I might have to get more, for I think this is my last one.

Back to school for us today! Not ready to go back yet, but at least it will be a short week.

Mother

I just love how this one turned out. Simple and not too busy! And look at that.... Yellow! Thanks to Sue and Allison for challenging us to use the forgotten one and Yellow is one of the too many that I usually don't reach for.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hope somebody is spoiling you today!! I made this card for our neighbour's little girl, who is turning 2 today (Valentine's Day) I did the 5.5 x 5.5 easel card, which I'm doing a lot of lately. I just love the set up of it and the fact that it's different from the regular style. I'm just hoping that they will figure it out how to set it up.

The image is by Sarah Kay which I colored with copics and Martha Stewart for the punches.

Sarah Kay

New stamps from Sarah Kay.... I want them all!!!! I have been stalking 7kidscollegefund (the only site I know that sells SK , that is close to Canada) I'm really trying to cut down, but this one is calling my name....I guess I'm just gonna have to settle with what I have.

We went to see AVATAR Thursday night as our Anniversary date (Feb 14th) We went to the early show, thinking that it's not gonna be busy.... Wow...It was packed! I enjoyed it, but since the movie didn't come with FAST CARS, hubby didn't see the big DEAL. I really wanted to see NEW MOON, but because it's coming to DVD soon, it's playing at the Movie Dome (it's like a loonie store movie theater) I used to go there 8 years ago and it was disgusting back then... a place where you didn't want part of your body to touch the seat at all and I'm pretty sure it's even worst now. I think I'll just wait till March 10th to watch it at home. Plus.. I know I'm gonna want to watch it again.

EONAC5

I remember this stamp! It was my first 2 step stampin and I thought it was so cool. Till I realized that It was actually very hard to line them up. That was before I knew about the "Stamp-a-majig" The amount of card stock I wasted.....
This time, I didn't do the 2 step. I stamped my image on acetate then colored it with glitter glue. It's kind a hard to see, but if you click on the image, you will be able to see it better.

The challenge this time is very easy!!! I love orange and I think I use it a lot with green. I even tried to copy Allison's sketch.

Sentimentaless Card

Is that even a word? "Lol" I googled it and nothing came up (at least not in English). Since it's so hard to come up with a title, I guess you're just gonna have settle with this one.

I sell all my cards and the last time I had a class, the ladies raided my inventory. Majority of them will like the card, but they wish it's a different sentiment. So now, I'm trying to figure out how to make a card with out sentiments, but be able to add one later with the coordinating colours and DP. Hmmmm.... sounds like a lot of work. I'm gonna have to think more on that.

You're gonna see a lot of 5.5 X 5.5 cards from this blog. I have 2 boxes of DCWV embossed cards, that I have been hoarding for a looong loooong time. It's very nice, but not thick enough for it to stand on its own. Well.... with all the layering that I do with it, It's no surprise it wouldn't stand on its own.

Blog Candy

You should check out Bev's blog she's giving away some good stuff. I love her work and I think she is one amazing crafter. I just discovered her blog and have been following her ever since.

Thanks for bloggin' by!

Thank You

Something quick and easy for you! Well.... it's not that easy actually. I have a tendency to always cut the frame and then insert the image in the cut out part. But the result looks like I just layered the image. Don't know why I do that, when it's very hard to keep the die centered while trying to cut.
The image is by Inkadinkado Boxed Wishes. The border punch is by EK and for my ribbon... I used the Bow Easy to get the perfect bow.

With Gratitude

Happy Wednesday to you all! Today is the last day of school for us and we don't go back till Tuesday the 16th. Wooo Hoooo!!! I'm gonna be crafting...gonna be going to bed late.... no snoozing the alarm for half an hour....and most of all... I get to sleep in!

I created this one the other day, but didn't get a chance to post it. Well... I was trying to play around with my new computer that's in my craft room, but the Photoshop Elements 7 is not that user friendly as the Photoshop 5 that I have in the kitchen computer. It would be nice if I can do all the blogging in my craft room. Oh well... guess I'm just gonna have to keep on playing till I get the hang of it.

Verve Stamps

Sigh.... I can't believe I can not find the stamp that I used for this card. I search everywhere and still no luck. I'm hoping that... since I'm looking for this missing stamp, I will find my Michael's gift card too. Isn't that how it works? You will find it, when you're not looking for it. Agghhh...
I even search my garbage can... I'm hoping that I just put it in a different cd case, but I can't find the block too!
On to the card... The dress is a punch by EK success. I put duct tape then added some beads. Not sure if you can see it, but the effect is quite gorgeous.

Need new lighting?

I'm hoping it's the lighting and not my photography technique that sucks... smirk. Since I started this EONAC, I have been reaching for old stamps. This one, I think was a hostess set and it was a must have it now stamps (geez!! if you don't know me by now... everything is a MUST have it now)
You can't really see it, but I used Elegant Eggplant with Always Artichoke card stocks and Sakura gel pen to add some bling to the dress.
Hope you like my lopsided card. I'm just to lazy to re-take it again.

Mojolicious

Happy Friday to you all! I just did my Mojo sketch and I'm lovin' it. Not much to it though, just lots of layering and distressing.

Ooops.. I should say Happy Saturday to you all! I did my EONAC and bumped this one for the next day, but forgot to change Friday to Saturday.

EONAC4

I just love this stamp from Stampin' up. I remember my Stampin' Up catalogue covered with post it notes, which was categorized in order of MUST have it now or can wait later. This set was a Must have it now....I did used it a lot when I first got it. Then came more stamps.....yeah.... you know the rest of the story!
I colored the image with copic and the sentiment is from Verve.

Thanks for bloggin' by!

Not so Mojolicious

I was gonna do the square or circle Mojo sketch, but I ended up reaching for my "Fleur de Lis" and here is the outcome of my Mojo. I have to make sure I do the Mojo sketch this week! I might be the lucky one and win something....

EONAC challenge

Been busy crafting and forgot to post this one right away. Don't know if it's too late, but I better hurry and post it. I'm surprise to find that all of my stampin' up ink pads are still juicy... even though they have been collecting dust for years.

Thanks for bloggin' by!

To distress or not to distress is stressing me out

For a different look... I thought I wouldn't distress this one for a change. I still think it's better distressed, so you can see the embossed part better. But, we are going for a different look right?

Make A Wish

Going back to my comfort zone.... Green and Pink! Not much to say about this card, except "Nesties"

Can't get enough of my Nesties

Just love playing with my Nestabilities. So many possibilities.... I was gonna add a sentiment, but didn't know where to put it. So, I just left it blank. LOL, I know I will add something later.

Hair Clips for the girls

I did them all yesterday with little help from the girls. When I say "little" it means they fought more than help. They argued about everything... buttons, ribbons, who gets to give it to me first, who gets to sit next to me.... aggghhhh!!! yes... I was glad when bedtime came.
