School project

My nephew called me today at 7:00 PM asking for help with his science project that is due tommorow. Hand made 3D plant with roots, fertilizer, leaves, stems, and flowers (pistil and stamen) are showing. It only took us a little over an hour to make it!!



I used my giga circle punch for the pot and accetate to hold the shreded crinkled paper (roots) and white beads (fertilizer) marvy flower punch and more beads (pistil/stamen) heavy dury wire (stems) cuttlebug die cuts (leaves)

Used a lot of double sided foam tape to hold vase part so I can stuff the roots and fertilizer.

I used foam and textured paper to make the flowers and just inserted the wires to create the pistil, stamen and stem.

Birthday Card

My daughter is going to a birthday party tommorow. Here is her card for her classmates (twins) It took me a while to create this one... I just did a spring cleanup the other day, so I was kind a stuck "LOL" (I create better with my messy table!). Love the patterned paper by "My Mind's Eye" and the Martha Stewart pop up punch.

Stamps by stampin' up and I used black embossing powder, then colored the girls with my prisma pencils.

stamps spring cleanup

Husband came home with these 14 heavy duty metal containers from work
(they were just gonna throw them in the garbage!!!) They are perfect for my stamps! I categorized them, so it's easier to find what I'm looking for. LOL you know how it is! when you need something specific and you end up hauling all of your stampin up stamp containers. I think I will be doing the same for my clear stamps.

14 More cards to go

Almost done with the second last order!! I still have to do 14 more cards to complete the order then to my last order of 10 Get Well and Sympathy cards. Been a busy week... tommorow I have to do a scrapbooking party ~LOL~NO!!! I didn't invite my self to Rheanna's 7th birthday scrapbooking party!! Her grandma coudn't make it, so....I was asked to rescue the party. All set and ready to go!!! I think I'm more excited than the birthday girl. hahaha

Mother's Day Cards

Pink and Green and SHAKERS!! I coudn't get enough of pink...green...and shakers... Next post I'll try to have no pink/green or shakers.

I used my liquid applique for the "Mom" don't know if you can see it , but it's really neat.
